Join the 2024 City Nature Challenge in Lexington! From April 26 – 29, make observations of wild plants, animals, and fungi anywhere in Fayette County and share them to iNaturalist. Your observations will contribute to one of the largest community science events in the world and help us better understand – and therefore, take care of – nature that lives in and around urban areas.

Over 400 cities are participating in this global event, including four in Kentucky (Frankfort, Lexington, Louisville, Bowling Green & South Central Kentucky).
